Anyway, here's the third picture that I've done for my sketching class. It's my first time drawing landscape/cityscape/non-people & non-object. I think it turned out pretty good! XD Took about 6 hours, but the wall on the left side alone took me about 2, so.... you can prolly tell that I worked from left to right, and that by the time I got to the path on the right, I didn't really care no more, eh? f^^;

Lately, I've been itching to going back to doing some translations, so I did, et voila! I present to you, the prologue of the first book in The Wizard of Flames Series. The series is a total of 10 books long (I think) and to be honest, I have never read the whole series through. I haven't even read the first book through, so I don't know if it's any good. I guess we'll find out together? I'm hoping that this book will be easy to read and translate because it's seems shoujo-manga'ish...though the fantasy elements may be a little problematic.
There's another novel series that I want to translate called Psychic Detective Yakumo, but I'm not sure if I can/want to handle two long novel series at the same time...We'll see.

definitely not one of my best, but it's okay for a 20 min sketch? >< I think I made his features a little rougher than they really are f^^; Picture quality is awful, I know. I'll try & do better next time. ><

I've unofficially dubbed November as "creation" month, so my goal is to create (a part of) something everyday, whether it's writing or drawing or painting or baking, etc.
so...this is my creation for today. okies, so it doesn't really look like him, but to me it does, kinda? no? not even close? >< even though the reference was of someone else? Sorry I deformed his face? >< I'll draw an actual pic of him someday...someday....if I don't move onto someone else before I get to it....hahaha f^^;
I've also realized that I've become really spoiled, cuz many of my recent pictures have been done on watercolor paper, and this one was on just regular paper, so the whole time, I was annoyed at how "poor" the quality of the paper was even though I used to do all my drawings on this kind of paper ><0

I got an allergy test done on Monday and here are the results (on a scale of 0 to 10, 0 being not allergic, 10 being I'll die just being near it):
Japanese cedar tree pollen: 6.64
Moths: 5.43
House dust: 1.65
"Yusurika" (some type of insect): 1.57
Ticks: 1.24
Cockroaches: 1.01
I'm also mildly allergic to something in the rice & grain plants, and the pollen of Japanese cypress/white cedar trees. So there we have it. Cockroaches are evil (sorry Wall-E)!!! Anyone else notice the fact that I'm allergic to a lot of the bugs that are around me everyday cuz I live in the freakin' nowhere inaka?! No wonder my allergies have been going haywire & then some this last year....><

So, here's the first part of my novel. It's in its rawest form because I'm not supposed to edit my novel until December. The purpose is to just create without being dragged down by the critical part of one's mind. The goal is to write a 50 000 word novel by the end of this month. If you divide it out, that means 1667 word a day. It's Nov. 3, and I don't even have 1667 words yet. I'm so screwed. Yay for procrastination!
Don't ask me what this story is about or where it's going. I don't know. I don't even know what's going to happen in the next sentence. That's all part of the adventure! XD
